  1. Assistant managers have no standing within the Management Committee. They may attend in the absence of the manager if agreed by the Secretary in advance.

  2. The manager has sole responsibility for the selection of players for a squad and for games and for the running of the team.

  3. Junior squads take preference on training facilities.

  4. Senior squads take preference on pitch facilities.

  5. Where a family has 2 or more players in the club or where a family has difficulty paying the standard subscription, the manager has the discretion to vary the subscription as appropriate.

  6. All squads should have their first-choice kit in the club colours of yellow & blue.

  7. Each squad should have a person (manager/parent) trained in basic first aid for sporting injuries. It is the responsibility of the committee to arrange periodic training and refresher courses.

  8. Managers must familiarise themselves with the club’s Child Protection policy and be prepared to accept the vetting procedure laid by the GFA and other authorities.

  9. Tours should not be booked in the name of the club, unless agreed by the committee.

  10. Goalkeepers will be provided with a basic jersey as part of the normal squad’s kit. A contribution of £30 will be made each year to assist in the cost of other goalkeeping equipment, e.g. gloves.

  11. The committee for the 6-a-side tournament will normally comprise of the managers of the Under 8s to Under 11s.

  12. The manager is responsible to the committee for the conduct of players, parents and supporters at training sessions and on match days, from the time the first player arrives until the last player leaves. The manager must ensure that no player is left on their own after training or a match whilst waiting for a parent/guardian to arrive.

  13. Managers should obtain approval for any squad sponsorship or fund-raising activities from the committee
